Yeah Finally ready to go abroad and this time I did learn the lesson and was on time for my flight departure ;
If you don’t know what I am talking about just reed that
Roma 3h I just get to know your airport.
22h Direction Amman with
. The flight was empty. 30% of the seats taken. What a first and I did enjoy having tree seats side to side all for me to sleep.
So unreal, being in economic with the possibility to sleep as in my own bed.
And that made me forget that the food was barely tasty even if it seems as it was : (potatoes/roast chicken/bread/Nutella/fruits/one candy/yoghurt)and too fresh.
3AM landing in Amman after 4h. I am watching the view of the city. The roads have good-looking with lights everywhere. I did feel emotional about stepping for the first time in that indescribably country.
During the flight I heard two girls speaking French and even if I did speak Italian and English I felt attracted by my mother tongue.
They were from France travelling with a friend coming from London. I left them for some bureaucracy (passport and visa) Thanks to a good friends of mine I did come with the Jordan pass and let’s be honest: that makes it easier. Here for more information on the Jordan pass.
My driver wasn’t here yet, I was a true
;
at time for our appointment. He wasn’t too late just 5 min after me but I did use this time for a subscription on Skype if I need to call someone in Jordan without increasing horribly my budget.
My drive to the hotel was a good introduction. Ibrahim made me see the city. Very welcoming. I get to take a few videos and pictures before getting to my Hotel.
And as you can imagine first thing doing in that hotel is finding the Wi-Fi passport and lay down on a comfortable coach.
Paradise
Hall by myself today in the capital of Jordan.
I just enjoyed getting lost myself in the city. I was not worried about looking myself my backup plan was to grab a taxi for the hotel in case.
But everything went more than fine.
I did enjoy walking down the street where only citizen are living. Being almost the only black girl I was noticed but people were very kind and if I had a question I always find someone who introduce me to someone who knows the answer of my demands. So perfect. Very reliable.
And Jordanian are so welcoming, so nice. Truly.
Always on my garde but I didn’t feel at all in danger even when they seem too
nice
seeing in you only the
beautiful women
Not my word, but those!
So I did encounter after 1h a man who accompanied me at the Roman theatre very
but I don’t like the museum even if it was cool to see the outfits.
I continued then alone to the
climbing the stairs and I did get some fresh air and a scenic view of Amman. There I get to talk to locals even if they didn’t speak English and neither I Arabic. Magic as facial expressions is empowering! No ?!
At the citadel it was midday and for less than 1jd I tasted a
. I didn’t have the clue, yet I just buy it because locals were doing it
and I love food and greatest food are with locals in my opinion. So yes I am a little crazy but it was delicious and so cheap!!
Guide at the citadel propose me a visit for far too much money and I did know thanks to my reading that it is possible to visit it for free and I did so very well.
After 2h I had the opportunity to discuss with tourist take picture and to get some too ;
And meet a younger men from France. So we chat he was leaving tomorrow and I book for a taxi for a fear price.
At first, they tried to foolish me with n expensive price but at the end I find, I think a food driver for the following days. I was so thankful because it wasn’t in the plan. And that will allow me tomorrow to get a big tour in Jordan with many sites …
